NFL Fans Want The New York Giants Investigated ASAP

Angry football fans are calling for the NFL to investigate the New York Giants after some bizarre developments involving star tight end Theo Johnson.

Earlier this week, the Giants ruled Theo Johnson out for their season finale vs. the Dallas Cowboys with an illness. Despite being under the weather, Johnson was spotted at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks take on the Atlanta Hawks.

The NFL has strict rules about teams providing false/misleading injury reports on players. In October, the league fined the Baltimore Ravens $100,000 for incorrectly listing Lamar Jackson as a full participant in a practice. He was ruled out one day later.

Understandably, NFL fans want the league to take action against the Giants, believing they unnecessarily ruled out Theo Johnson for the sake of tanking.

“Out with an illness but healthy enough to attend a #Knicks game, @NFL needs to investigate this and take away the #Giants first round pick,” a fan wrote.

Indeed, the Giants have a lot to answer for.

Theo Johnson Had A Superb Sophomore Season For Giants

Not much went right for the Giants this season, but Theo Johnson did his part on offense. The second-year tight end finished his season with 45 catches for 528 yards and five touchdowns.

New York has a promising offensive nucleus led by quarterback Jaxson Dart, wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo. Throw Johnson into the fold, and you have good reason for optimism in 2026 if you’re a Giants fan.

With plenty of cap space and another high draft pick on the way, it might not be long until the Giants make some noise again.
