Now that the 2024 NFL season is wrapped up, the football world is looking ahead toward the 2025 campaign. Not only have sportsbooks already released odds for next season’s Super Bowl winner, but NBC, the broadcaster of next season’s big game, also shared the first look at the official logo for the event.

The official Super Bowl logo has become bit of a recurring viral story in recent years, as a slightly compelling conspiracy theory posits that the colors used in the logo subliminally reveals which teams will be participating in the event. The logo color conspiracy became popularized in 2021 after the NFL started using color in their Super Bowl logos following a decade of bland monotone designs.

For example, in 2022, the Super Bowl LVI logo was orange and yellow: the game wound up being the Cincinnati Bengals against the Los Angeles Rams. The following year’s logo was green and red: the Chiefs beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl that season.

Last year’s logo conspiracy was a bit of a stretch, as the colors were red and purple: while the red represented the San Francisco 49ers, the purple was jokingly attributed to Taylor Swift (and therefore the Chiefs). Finally, this year’s logo was green and red, and we again saw an Eagles versus Chiefs Super Bowl.

Now that NBC has released the first look at the logo for Super Bowl LX (which will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8, 2026), fans are trying to figure out which teams its teasing, which is a bit more difficult than in years past as the logo has pink/purple, blue, yellow, green, and red in it.

O’Shea Jackson Jr., star of the recent hit films Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, suggested that the logo was predicting a Minnesota Vikings versus Buffalo Bills matchup Super Bowl (which would be a hell of a matchup considering the tortured histories of both franchises). Others have predicted that the logo could be teasing the involvement of the Green Bay Packers or the Los Angeles Chargers.

As for who the bookies think have the best chance at making next year’s Super Bowl, the top five favorites are the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions.
