The closer we get to the 2025 NFL season, the less likely we will resolve the Dallas Cowboys’ issues with Micah Parsons.

Parsons either wants a new contract or wants out, as displayed by his trade request from last month.

His trade request has sparked rumors that one NFC powerhouse has a massive trade offer for Parsons.

When Micah Parsons announced his request for the Dallas Cowboys to trade him, he didn’t hear from team owner and general manager Jerry Jones.

Bobby Belt of 105.3 The Fan spoke to Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, amid rising tensions from the team and his client.

According to Belt, Parsons is “very serious” about his trade request from the team.

Now, there may be a sure-fire way to get what he wants.

“America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys” is an eight-part docuseries about Jerry Jones’ acquisition of the Cowboys in 1989 and his subsequent run of success in the ’90s.

One part of the series spoke on how a player was so frustrated with the 49ers that he walked into the General Manager’s office and whipped out his penis to pee on the desk.

The player allegedly said, “This is how bad I want out of here.”

On X, a post provided the clip stating, “The new Cowboys Netflix doc lays out how Micah Parsons can force his way out of Dallas.”

Adam Schefter Describes Cowboys, Micah Parsons Situation

With no movement on a long-term union between the Cowboys and Micah Parsons, ESPN’s Adam Schefter gave insight into the relationship.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones hasn’t given clear answers as to why those negotiations have paused, and that is only making matters worse.

Schefter believes there will be a “divorce” between Parsons and the Cowboys at some point; now, the question is when and how.

“You can’t get a deal done if you’re not even talking. The two sides haven’t had any negotiations since late March or early April. It sounds like at this point it’s personal,” Schefter said on his podcast.

“Now, have other people put those feelings aside in the past and figured out a way to work out a deal? Yeah. I don’t see that happening here. I see these two sides headed towards divorce in time. The only question is, when is that divorce going to happen, and how is it going to happen?”

Micah Parsons, the Cowboys’ 12th overall pick in 2021, has been seeking a new deal as he enters the final year of his rookie contract.

He has already shown various hints of which teams he would like to join.

Jones has encouraged Cowboys fans not to “lose any sleep over this,” but the closer we get to the regular season, the more likely it seems that he might sit out.
