Once upon a time, Trey Lance was supposed to be next up as the star quarterback in San Francisco.
These days, he is going from team to team, trying to find his rightful place in the league. This year, Lance is on the Chargers.
He is already going viral, and not for a good reason.
This week at OTAs, footage of Lance throwing a long pass to a wide receiver surfaced. Unfortunately, sitting on the bench appears to have taken away his arm strength.

The 49ers acquired Trey Lance by trading a 2021 first-round pick (pick 12), two future first-round picks (2022 and 2023), and a 2022 third-round pick to the Miami Dolphins. This enabled them to move up to the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft and select him.
In two seasons for San Francisco, he went 56-of-102 passing (54.9%) for 797 yards and five touchdowns, but with three interceptions.
Brock Purdy would eventually take over and has now received a monster contract that Lance was expected to get at some point in his career.
