The best decision the Eagles could’ve made was signing Saquon Barkley up to match him with Jalen Hurts.
It was time to get to work after Saquon Barkley signed a three-year deal worth $37.75 with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Barkley, who was 27 at the time, was doubted about his return to full form due to his injuries.
This week, a foreshadowing moment between Barkley and Jalen Hurts during training camp resurfaced.
Earlier in training camp, Saquon asked Hurts about fear, and it led to an incredible conversation.
“Aye, you think you fearless?” Barkley said to Hurts.
“Fearless?” Hurts replied. “Absolutely. You got some (expletive) you’re gonna worry about, but you had to check yourself. You either gonna pray or you gonna worry. You can’t do both. God got it. God know I work too. Shouldn’t be (expletive) to fear when you done already put the work in. I come ready.”

The Philadelphia Eagles claimed the Lombardi Trophy, and their star quarterback shut down the naysayers with his play.
Hurts took home 12 of the 20 votes for the game’s MVP and has already taken his trip to Disney World.
The Eagles completely shut down a Kansas City Chiefs offense in a performance reminiscent of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ in Super Bowl 59.
It was an all-around beatdown.
