NFL fans are loving an epic customized re-design of the Cleveland Browns logo that a prominent graphic designer put together.
Graphic designer Emily Morgan has built up quite the following on social media thanks to her signature professional sports team logo re-designs. Morgan will take a club’s standard logo and create her own customized logo.
Morgan’s latest project was a re-design of the Cleveland Browns standard and alternate dog logos. The original logo has undergone only minimal changes since 1986. Here’s a look at how Morgan changed up the logos:
Morgan took it a step further by showing fans what these customized Cleveland Browns logos would look like on hats and on the field:
Social media showered Morgan with praise after she unveiled her latest logo re-design.
“Tough to make a horrible logo look any good, but this was a valiant effort,” one Instagram user said.
“I like how the face mask also looks like an infinity symbol, reflective of the number of years the Browns will suck,” said another.
“I like this a lot. Really good job! It’s interesting how the CB on the helmet, cool detail and it fits perfectly, would have noticed if you didn’t say it,” wrote a user.
“I hate their logo and you made it look good,” remarked another.
“So good. Big upgrade IMO,” a fan said.
“Anything is better then the current logo. Browns fans shouldn’t even disagree lol,” another remarked.
The Cleveland Browns logo isn’t exactly regarded as one of the NFL’s best, given its lack of imagination and creativity. Then again, it’s hard to come up with the proper logo when your team is named after franchise co-founder and former head coach Paul Brown.
But if Cleveland ever wants to drastically overhaul its logo, it can take inspiration from Emily Morgan here or even ask if she’d design it herself.
Cleveland was one of the NFL’s biggest disappointments of 2024, finishing with a 3-14 record that landed them the No. 2 pick in the draft. The 3-win season came one year after they went 11-6, with Kevin Stefanski taking home his second NFL Coach of the Year award.
