NFL fans reckon Scott Hanson is teasing something extra for ‘NFL RedZone’ following a cryptic four-word tweet from the host.

‘RedZone’ is on the move this year, so changes are definitely afoot. And Hanson has successfully set tongues wagging with his recent tweet, which implies that the show could be back sooner than expected or could kick off earlier than usual.

“Sundays are starting early….” Hanson shared on Sunday, leading many to suggest that ‘RedZone’ could cover preseason.

“I will take preseason red zone if that’s what you are implying Scott,” a fan wrote in the comments.

Scott Hanson’s Staying But ‘NFL RedZone’ Is Moving

As noted above, the show is on the move. ESPN is nearing a $2 billion deal to acquire ‘NFL RedZone’ and NFL Network, which would leave The Worldwide Leader in Sports fully in charge of the popular Sunday package.

According to reports, the NFL would also receive up to 10 percent of equity in ESPN.

Fans are mostly against the deal as they fear the new owners would change the show’s ad-free format and possibly get the likes of Stephen A. Smith and Pat McAfee involved.

As for Scott Hanson, the longtime host renewed his contract to remain on the show earlier this year, so he’s not going anywhere.
