The Cleveland Browns’ quarterback situation is one of the top NFL storylines with training camps underway as Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett, and Shedeur Sanders are all vying for their place on the depth chart.
Saturday was the final day of practice without pads.
Much of the attention through the first few days of camp has been on Sanders, their 2025 fifth-round pick. He has not received many first-team reps, but that has not hindered his work ethic.
Myles Garrett has seemingly made his choice of which quarterback he wants the team to go with.
After practice a few days ago, Shedeur Sanders worked with center Brady Latham following bad snaps during camp.
Even Myles Garrett came to help out as well.

“You got your superstar, franchise, defensive all-pro, pro-bowl player investing extra time after practice to support Shedeur is speaking very loudly without saying a word. He’s investing time into the development of his QB. It’s the details of how the locker feels about #12,” one fan said.

The Cleveland Browns have a crowded quarterback room, but one of those players may be forced to miss some time.
Kenny Pickett suffered a hamstring injury toward the end of Saturday’s practice.
Pickett has been splitting reps with Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders. Now, Pickett is set to miss an undetermined period of time, opening the door for additional reps for Gabriel and Sanders.
The Browns acquired Pickett in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in hopes he could make a bid for the starting gig.
Even if Pickett only misses a few days of camp, he will be ceding valuable reps to the other three signal callers on the roster.
In terms of experience, Flacco has a clear edge.
However, this is the opportunity for Sanders to show what he’s got.
