Both teams could make sense for top candidate Mike Vrabel
The 2025 NFL coaching rumor mill is already in full as teams prepare to make moves in the offseason.
There are already three teams that will be looking for new full-time coaches after they already fired coaches during the season. They are the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. There, of course, will be more and the Las Vegas Raiders could join the list if they decide to fire Antonio Pierce after one full season.
There are already rumors that the Jets are prepared to make a push for Mike Vrabel as their next head coach. Vrabel, the former Tennessee Titans coach and current Cleveland Browns consultant. is expected to be one of the most sought-after candidates in 2025.
Should the Raiders move on from Pierce, Vrabel could make sense. He was teammates with Raiders’ part owner Tom Brady, who is expected to have a say in future decisions.
Of course, every job opening has its strengths or weaknesses.
