There were five analysts who picked Mike Vrabel to win Coach of the Year honors as a part of NFL.com’s award predictions for the 2025 NFL season.
There were also two respondents who tabbed New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson to capture the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
One of the participants (NFL Network analyst Marc Ross) picked both Vrabel and Henderson to earn their respective honors.
The former Patriots linebacker has already won the Coach of the Year award before, capturing the hardware following the 2021 NFL season. In his fourth year with the Tennessee Titans that season, Vrabel led the team to a 12-5 record and an AFC South division title.
New England selected Henderson in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the 38th overall pick.
The Ohio State product has shined all summer and led all Patriots running backs this preseason in yards per carry (7.6), having recorded five rushing attempts for 38 yards and one touchdown. It’s a limited sample size, but impressive nonetheless.
Multiple NFL analysts have predicted that Henderson will be New England’s first 1,000-yard rusher since the 2022 campaign during the 2025 season.
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is the Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite, receiving seven votes from the panel, with Jacksonville Jaguars two-way player Travis Hunter came in second with six votes. Titans quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward is third with five votes, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Emeka Egbuka is fourth with four votes and Henderson is tied with Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton with two tallies.
As noted in the NFL.com article, no running back has won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award since Saquon Barkley did it in 2018.
