The New England Patriots are on a roll, notching their seventh consecutive victory on Sunday by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a score of 28-23.

Numerous sports media members expressed their admiration for the Patriots on Monday, with former NFL quarterback and current analyst Chris Simms highlighting New England’s potential for the rest of the season.

“New England is a different animal, Simms said Monday on “Chris Simms Unbuttoned”. “We watched them again yesterday, and that was another check-the-box game.”

Simms said he believes people are overlooking two teams in the AFC: the Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts, both of whom currently have impressive 8-2 records.

“I still think people are waiting and not sold on the Colts and the Patriots, and I’m like, ‘they are going nowhere, especially the Patriots, and they are getting better and better as it goes,” Simms added.

The Patriots are likely encountering a lot of doubters this season, especially with a second-year quarterback, Drake Maye at the helm, and considering that New England only managed to secure four victories last year.

However, new head coach Mike Vrabel has changed the entire culture, and Maye is playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL; therefore, the Patriots should be taken seriously as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
