New York Jets NFL Draft order 2026: Updated 1st-round pick in Week 17

New York Jets NFL Draft order 2026: Updated 1st-round pick in Week 17
Gang Green Nation Gang Green Nation

We’ll have to wait until the late afternoon window of games concludes to know where things stand with the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Whatever goes down between the Giants, who came into Week 17 with a 2-13 record, a nine-game losing streak, and holding the first overall pick, and the Raiders, could shake up the top a bit more.

The beatdown the Jets suffered at the hands of their division rival Patriots shouldn’t hurt New York’s first-round position — but it’s not going to launch them into the No. 1 spot, either. The loss drops New York to 3-13 on the season, and bumps them up to the third overall pick, while the Cleveland Browns drop all the way to No. 6 after pulling off a win over the Steelers, snapping a four-game losing streak.

The Jets also hold the Colts’ first-round pick from the Sauce Gardner trade, and after the Colts’ Week 17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, that pick now sits at No. 18.

Here’s the current draft order, updated after Sunday’s early afternoon slate of games in Week 17.
