Good morning Gang Green Nation! The New York Jets welcome Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in a game that means a lot for the Seahawks’ playoff aspirations and almost nothing for the Jets. Smith has resurrected his career with the Seahawks, becoming a starting quarterback again in 2022 after eight years as a journeyman backup for various NFL teams. The 34-year-old quarterback had an excellent year in 2022, leading the Seahawks to a wild card playoff berth and finishing with a passer rating over 100. Since then he has fallen a bit to roughly a league average NFL starting quarterback over the last two campaigns. We’ll have a chance to get an in-depth look at our old friend this Sunday.
