Justin Fields is back at practice with the New York Jets after being sidelined with a concussion since a Week 2 head injury. Fields is not yet cleared to play on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins, but all signs are pointing in that direction. That’s good news for a Jets team still seeking their first win of the season. Tyrod Taylor is a decent backup, but his best days at quarterback are long behind him, and he was never all that good in the first place. At this point Taylor is a dead end for the Jets. Fields might be as well, but there is at least some small chance for upside with Fields, and his best days are significantly better than anything Taylor can produce.
