New York Jets Flight Connections 08/28/25
Gang Green Nation Gang Green Nation

Good morning Gang Green Nation!

The New York Jets were active on the NFL waiver wire yesterday, claiming three players: tight end Jelani Woods, offensive tackle Esa Pole, and linebacker Cam Jones. In corresponding moves to make room for the additions the Jets cut wide receiver Tyler Johnson, linebacker Zaire Barnes and offensive tackle Marquis Hayes. The Jets also nearly filled out their 16 man practice squad, signing 14 players. The heavy lifting of building the 2025 Jets is almost done. Now the team turns towards preparing for the season opener against former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Real football is just around the corner. Can’t wait.
