Good morning Gang Green Nation! The big news regarding the New York Jets today involves star wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Over the years Wilson has been rather vocal about his displeasure with all the losing the Jets have done during his tenure with the team. Speculation has been that he was the least likely member of the celebrated Jets draft class of 2022 to embrace a Jets contract extension. However, Wilson may have put such speculation to bed, as he announced he wants to be a Jet for life. With contract negotiations for a long term extension for Wilson underway, perhaps we will soon see Wilson under contract for the Jets, if not for life, at least for the next four or five years. That would be a very positive development indeed for a Jets team that lacks wide receiver talent beyond Wilson.
