Good morning Gang Green Nation! The New York Jets will be meeting with Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham today. According to Ian Rapoport, the Jets have “spent a considerable amount of time with Graham, including a formal interview at the Combine, dinner the night before his Pro Day and now the Top 30 visit.”
Graham is widely considered the top defensive tackle in this draft and a likely top seven pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He has flown under the radar a bit in regards to whom the Jets might pick at #7. That may be because draftniks think he will already be gone by the time the Jets pick, or it may be because they think the Jets have bigger needs at other positions. While an offensive position is currently all the rage in Jets mock drafts, if Mason is still on the board when the Jets draft, it would not be surprising if the Jets take him and try to form one of the best defensive tackle tandems in the NFL with Graham and Quinnen Williams.
