Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning Gang Green Nation! The 2025 NFL draft is just a week and a half away now, and it seems like half the stories out there are focused on whom the Jets will draft with the #7 overall pick. That’s to be expected. The first round picks are the guys with the most upside, as well as the most predictable, to the extent these things are predictable at all. By the second and later rounds we have almost no idea about exactly whom will be available when the Jets pick. It’s nearly impossible to correctly project mid and late round selections, so we focus on the first round pick, where we have a much better idea regarding whom the range of possible prospects will be. However, the Jets have plenty of holes, and they will most likely be relying on the draft to produce multiple starters in 2025. We don’t have much of an idea of the exact prospects whom the Jets will be relying on, but whomever they ultimately end up being, the 2025 Jets will soon be getting an injection of youth at multiple starting positions. How those newly minted draftees perform will go a long way towards determining the level of success the Jets enjoy in 2025 and beyond. Here’s hoping for a smooth transition and much success for the soon to be new New York Jets.
