Good morning Gang Green Nation! Aaron Glenn and the New York Jets continue to build the coaching staff. The latest additions are Charles London as quarterback coach and Scott Turner as passing game coordinator. London is a bit of a head scratcher. In his playing days at Duke University he was a running back. After his playing days were over London returned to Duke in 20024 to begin a long coaching career. He coached with several colleges and NFL teams, almost exclusively as a running backs coach, until 2021, when the Atlanta Falcons surprisingly hired London as a quarterbacks coach. You rarely see a quarterbacks coach who played a different position in their playing days. In addition, London has seemingly never successfully developed a quarterback. Could this work out just fine? Of course it could. Stranger things have happened. But there is certainly reason to have a healthy serving of skepticism about this choice.
