Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets have hired former San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks to become their defensive coordinator under new head coach Aaron Glenn. Wilks was essentially scapegoated for his loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl - and yet while it may have been his fault to a degree, it’s hard to suggest that Wilks is not capable of leading and forming an imposing defense. While the Jets haven’t figured out the offensive coordinator position yet. One can only assume that they will be able to find a competent person to fill that role with Glenn in charge. It seems like the Jets are once again winning the offseason. Whether or not that finally translates to regular season success, however, remains to be seen.
