Good morning Gang Green Nation! Based on a report by Josina Anderson, the New York Jets are rumored to be on the verge of hiring Denver Broncos assistant general manager Darren Mougey as the Jets’ new general manager. However, that rumor was posted around midday yesterday, and as of now we have not received confirmation of that rumor from any other reputable source. Other sources have said there is no deal as of yet and the Johnsons are involved in meetings to decide whom to hire as general manager. With second interviews already completed for all known remaining candidates for the position, one would think an announcement is imminent, unless the Jets are not sold on any of the current candidates, in which case this could drag on a bit longer.
