Good morning Gang Green Nation! Darren Mougey and Aaron Glenn gave their first postseason press conference yesterday. Let’s just say it did not go well. Between demanding total trust from the fans and repeating last year’s mistake of raising expectations beyond what they can probably deliver next season, this was a masterclass in what not to do in public relations. It appeared as if they had learned nothing from this season’s debacle.
The silver lining is, talk is cheap. If Mougey and Glenn deliver a winning team what they said yesterday won’t matter. If they don’t deliver a winning team what they said yesterday also won’t matter. Just win baby. The rest is just a sideshow.
