The Aaron Glenn era in New York has gotten off to as bad of a start as possible, as the New York Jets have begun the season with an 0-4 record, effectively ending their season before it ever began. And while Glenn has been putting on a brave face in public, the cracks may be forming behind the scenes.

According to multiple New York Jets beat reporters who were at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for the Jets’ 27-21 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Jets rookie head coach Aaron Glenn was yelling at his players so loudly after the game that his voice could be heard through the walls.

Hearing loud voice through the wall of the Jets’ locker room as we sit in the press room: Sounds like an angry Aaron Glenn screaming at the team. And he has a right to be pissed. #Jets

In the loss to the Dolphins, the Jets were remarkably sloppy, leading to the team committing a whopping 16 penalties( 13 accepted, for 101 yards) in addition to three fumbles, all of which were recovered by the Dolphins.

“Every turnover was impactful. Obviously (Allen’s) was one that’s going to be magnified because it was right there … I thought he was about to go in and score, but every turnover is impactful,” Glenn told reporters after the game.

“I’m not about to just put it on that. You cannot win in this league when that happens and I can continue saying that over and over, but to have three of them and have that many penalties, it’s tough.”

While the vibes were high under Glenn in the offseason, those good feelings have almost immediately evaporated as the Jets, once again, fined themselves marred in a seemingly miserable season. The performances have been so bad, in fact, that some Jets fans are beginning to wonder if Glenn will last beyond this season.

The Jets now have a run of three straight games at home against the Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers are they look to secure their first win of the 2025 season.
