The last thing the New York Giants could afford right now is an injury to Malik Nabers.
Nabers has been tearing up training camp for the Giants amid Russell Wilson’s arrival in New York. However, he suffered an injury on Tuesday that had fans holding their breath.
The New York Giants star wide receiver left practice early Tuesday with the training staff after getting shaken up during a running play in team drills.
Nabers stayed on the ground momentarily before coming to the sideline in apparent discomfort.
The situation seemingly got worse as he later left the field, walking on his own power, went inside with Giants head trainer Ronnie Barnes, and appeared to be favoring his right side/arm.

The Giants’ depth at wide receiver would be tested if Nabers suffered a significant injury.
Nabers is a key part of the Giants’ offensive plans.
Nabers will be the clear No. 1 target for starting quarterback Russell Wilson in New York this year.
Wide receiver Malik Nabers is expected to have a great second season.
Nabers was one of the lone bright spots for the 3-14 Giants as a rookie last year. His 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns led the team, which were impressive feats amid a chaotic situation at quarterback.
In 2024, the Giants rolled out four different starters under center.
The 109 catches Nabers tallied were more than any other wide receiver in 2024. His yardage total was the second-most of all rookie pass-catchers.
Malik Nabers’ 1,204 yards made him the first Giants player to surpass 800 receiving yards in a season since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2018.
