Jaxson Dart became a very rich man upon signing his first NFL contract with the New York Giants. The rookie passer is set to make $17 million across the next four seasons.

Dart’s wasted no time in flaunting his new wealth this offseason. Over the weekend, he balled out on a spending spree that culminated with a stop at the Kentucky Derby.

Dart was a star in Oxford, throwing for more that 10,000 yards as a Rebel and leading the SEC in passing as a senior. He buoyed that production into draft success.

The quarterback was drafted with the 25th overall pick after skyrocketing up mock boards late. He was the second signal caller selected in the event and one of just two QBs to go in the first round.

It was reported that he’d signed a four-year, $17 million deal with his new squad in April. An update by Spotrac’s Michael Ginnitti stated that all of that money would be guaranteed.

As the #25 overall pick, QB Jaxson Dart’s #Giants contract should come in around:

– 4 years, $17M
– $9M signing bonus
– fully guaranteed
– 2029 5th-year option

NYG now owes Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, & Dart a combined $23.5M in 2025.

Jaxson Dart is on a spending spree!

Nine days after that update was revealed, Dart was spotted at a Metallica concert in Nashville. A day later, he made the trip to Churchill Downs in Louisville.

Dart was on hand for the 151st edition of the Kentucky Derby. He was accompanied by New York teammate Wen’Dale Robinson.

Tickets for the event were pricey, at least those outside the infield area of the venue. Costs for the stadium-style seating sat in the $1,000 range. Box seating started closer to $2,000 a ticket with suite entry reaching six figures.

One would assume a few bets were placed and drinks consumed during the stay, too, as the passer likely racked up a hefty bill. Money is no longer an object to the $17 million man. That appeared to be on display this weekend!
