The Minnesota Vikings still have some big decisions to make as the 2026 NFL offseason continues, with the regular season set to begin in just over three months. The Vikings already made one big move earlier this offseason when they hired Nolan Teasley to be their new general manager, taking over for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who was fired following last season.
Now, Teasley has made a big move regarding some of the other personnel in the Vikings’ front office.
“…new Vikings GM Nolan Teasley is making front office changes. Senior personnel exec Jamaal Stephenson, asst director of college scouting Pat Roberts and pro scout Salli Clavelle are no longer listed on the team’s online org chart,” reported Kevin Seifert of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter, citing a report from Alec Lewis of The Athletic.
Clearly, Teasley has a clear vision in mind for the kind of personnel he wants in the team’s front office, and it remains to be seen if he already has candidates selected to replace these individuals.
Teasley is still in the very early portion of his tenure as Minnesota’s general manager, with many of the team’s biggest moves of the offseason coming before he was officially appointed to the role. Among those moves was the signing of free agent quarterback Kyler Murray, who parted ways with the Arizona Cardinals following the 2025 NFL season.
Many anticipate that it will be Murray, not youngster JJ McCarthy, who will win the starting job for Minnesota heading into next season, following McCarthy’s struggles in his first year under center last year.
In any case, the Vikings’ 2026 season is slated to get underway on September 13.
