The Cincinnati Bengals might be primed and ready to make that next step.
The Bengals’ offense is already the unquestioned strength of the team, and that strength got a bit stronger Thursday morning.
The Bengals are signing free agent tight end Noah Fant, per multiple reports.
Fant, a former first-round pick from the 2019 NFL Draft, racked up 170 receptions for 1,905 yards and 10 touchdowns before being dealt to the Seattle Seahawks as part of the Russell Wilson trade in the 2022 offseason.
Adding him to the already stacked Cincinnati Bengals team seems quite unfair. The Bengals have been active in the 2025 offseason, focusing on re-signing key players, adding depth, and making some key draft selections.
They re-signed wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to contract extensions while also bringing back several other players, such as tight end Mike Gesicki, defensive tackle B.J. Hill, and edge rusher Joseph Ossai.
For that reason, NFL Insider Ari Meirov thinks that the Bengals could be “Very scary” in 2025.
One thing about the #Bengals offense: It’s the first true offseason where their entire offensive core is together without any setbacks.

With Joe Burrow leading the way, the Cincinnati Bengals have one of the strongest quarterback rooms in the NFL.
After an injury-plagued season in 2023, during which he was limited to 10 games, Burrow had a big bounce-back year in 2024, playing all 17 games and throwing for 4,918 yards, 43 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
The Cincinnati Bengals finished the 2024 NFL season with a winning record of 9-8. They started the year rough, but turned it up later in the year. However, they missed the playoffs.
If the team had qualified, we might be talking about Joe Burrow being the reigning league MVP.
With the team looking dangerous, many are wondering about their chances of making it to the Super Bowl.
The Bengals are currently in seventh place in terms of odds.
Teams like the 49ers, Lions, Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, and Eagles are ahead of them.
