The New Orleans Saints cutdown their roster to 53 players yesterday, but as you know, the roster is ever changing due to injuries and needs which is where the practice squad comes into play.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. CT today, NFL teams can add up to 16 players on their practice squad as well as one international player. They can claim unvested players that have been waived and vested veterans (players with a minimum of 4 accrued seasons) will become free agents immediately and are able to sign with any team.
Which means the Saints can soon start to sign players that are eligible for their 2025 practice squad, and we will have all the updates here.
