Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni have a long offseason ahead of them.
The defending Super Bowl champions looked nothing like the team from 2024. Somehow, they still won the NFC East and got a home playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. It was a regular season filled with controversy, mostly from AJ Brown. At its worst, there were trade rumors that the team might send Brown packing to another squad. The trade deadline came and went without a deal.
On the field, Brown is still liable to show his frustration as a hot mic caught the wideout saying, “This when you throw me the f–kin’ ball! WTF is that?! Just throw the f–kin’ ball!”
It seemed like a weekly occurrence for Brown to act. Unfortunately for AJ Brown and Eagles fans, his lasting image for this season was on the sidelines. That is where he had his heated sideline exchange with head coach Nick Sirianni. That wasn’t the only thing going on the sidelines.
Down 23-19 with just 43 seconds to play, the Eagles had one last gasp as they faced a fourth down. Fox cameras went to the Eagles’ sidelines to get a feel of what they were doing.
Offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo was talking to Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianna about what they would do. Both the quarterback and head coach appeared to be in disbelief, as they knew it was all over.
“You can see the exact moment Hurts and Sirianni know the season’s over,” one X account said.

“Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was visibly SHOCKED by offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo’s play call for the final 4th down play of the game,” a second account added.

It all starts with me and ends with me,” said Hurts after the game, per AL.
He finished his season throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown on 20-of-35 pass completions.
