The New York Giants and Washington Commanders don’t have much to play for. They still have to go out and play on Sunday.

Once they get on the field, it won’t be pretty. The two NFC East teams are playing for respect at this point in the season. Washington is 3-10 while New York is 2-11. Both want to win while simultaneously hoping for the better draft pick.

East Rutherford should prepare for dangerously cold temperatures. A winter weather advisory is now in effect. The advisory, which began at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, will remain in effect until kickoff.

The kickoff between the Giants and Commanders at MetLife Stadium has a forecast for up to 3 inches of snow. Footage from inside the stadium shows that those inches are well on the way.

Workers could be seen in the stands trying to clear it out. Part of the field shows clumps of snow already accumulating.

The New York Giants are looking for their next head coach. One name has emerged in the form of Marcus Freeman. After missing out on the CFP tournament, Freeman and Notre Dame announced that they withdrew their name from bowl game consideration.

Mike Florio or Pro Football Talk floated the Giants and Titans as possible landing spots for him.

The Commanders are one week removed from losing Zach Ertz to a devastating leg injury. It’s been a tough year for them.
