The San Francisco 49ers may be on the road for Saturday’s Divisional Round game against the Seattle Seahawks, but the NFC West champions may not quite have the giant home advantage they initially expected.
Seattle’s thunderous crowd noise at Lumen Field over the years has been well documented. However, it appears the “12th man” may not be as noisy as the Seahawks are accustomed to for the playoff clash with the San Francisco 49ers.
Last week, the Seahawks issued a warning to season ticket holders about the potential resale of their playoff tickets. The football club warned fans that reselling them could affect their chances of renewing season tickets in 2026.
It seems, however, that the Seahawks’ threats to season ticket holders didn’t have the impact they had hoped for.
David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard reports that all Saturday morning flights from San Francisco to Seattle are booked. As Lombardi points out, that’s a significant indicator that plenty of 49ers fans are headed to Seattle.
All morning flights from SFO to Seattle on Saturday (and there are a lot between two major hub airports) are booked out to the point of not even showing up anymore on search…

Flights from San Francisco to Seattle are usually between 90 minutes and two and a half hours, so it’s not a long commute for 49ers fans at all. We’ll soon find out just how many of them are at Lumen Field to cheer on the red and gold.
Even after losing All-Pro tight end George Kittle for the season with an Achilles tear, the 49ers went on to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round. It was just another shining example of Kyle Shanahan’s grade-A coaching.
Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Mykel Williams, Brock Purdy and Ricky Pearsall all missed significant time. Warner was hoping to return for Saturday’s game, but Shanahan ruled him out, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
San Francisco has run a “Next man up” operation all season, and it’s worked tremendously this year. The Seahawks may be the favorites, but be careful betting against a 49ers team that has conquered the injury bug and adversity like few NFL teams in recent memory.
