It’s game day, ladies and gentlemen! Today, the Minnesota Vikings will take the field for the second time this preseason as they play host to the New England Patriots. These two teams have had joint practices this week, and now they’ll battle it out on the field to see what they’ve learned over the past few days. This will be the last time the Vikings will take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium until Week 2 of the regular season, as their final preseason game will be in Tennessee this coming Friday and their regular season opener is, of course, a road game in Chicago.
Let’s get you all of the information you need to follow along with all of the action this afternoon.
Kickoff for this one is slated for noon Central time on Saturday afternoon. Unlike last week’s game (and next week’s), this game is not a nationally broadcast one, so you might have some trouble catching it live if you’re not in a place that’s showing it locally. Here are all of the networks around the Midwest that will be carrying the game, along with the Vikings Radio Network simulcast with Paul Allen and Pete Bercich.

If you’re located in the northeast, here is the list of networks that will be showing the game with the Patriots’ broadcast team of Scott Zolak, Devin McCourty, and Jason McCourty.
If you are not in any of those cities. . .well, I’m afraid you’re going to have to wait for a replay to actually be able to see this one. Replays on the NFL Network are set for 5:00 AM Central on Sunday, 17 August, and 11:00 AM Central on Wednesday, 20 August.
