Nessa Diab and Colin Kaepernick recently tied the knot, the popular MTV and MTV2 host recently announced.

Diab and the former NFL star quarterback have been in a relationship since 2015, revealing it to the public in 2016. In a recently posted video, Diab revealed that the two are now a happily married couple.

Nessa went to bat for Nicki Minaj during her public feud with Jay-Z, Roc Nation, Megan Thee Stallion and Desiree Perez. In the video, Nessa acknowledged that she is not Colin Kaepernick’s “roommate or girlfriend,” but “his wife.”

The San Francisco 49ers drafted Colin Kaepernick in the second round (36th overall) in 2011, providing competition for first-overall pick Alex Smith. Kaepernick got his chance to start in the middle of the 2012 season after Smith suffered a concussion, and the former never looked back.

Kaepernick went 5-2 in the regular season with 10 touchdowns, three interceptions, 415 rushing yards and five touchdowns. That included a thrilling “Sunday Night Football” win over Tom Brady’s New England Patriots, with Kaepernick throwing four touchdowns in the victory.

He remained the 49ers’ starting quarterback through the 2016 season. Kaepernick threw for 12,271 yards, 72 touchdowns and 30 interceptions to go along with 2,300 rushing yards and 13 rushing scores. He led the 49ers to a Super Bowl 47 appearance (a 34-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers) and consecutive NFC Championship Games (2012 and 2013), losing the latter to the Seattle Seahawks.

Colin Kaepernick & NFL Settled Collusion Grievance In 2019

After going unsigned in the 2017 offseason, Kaepernick filed a lawsuit against the NFL, accusing owners of colluding to keep him out of the league because of his protests by kneeling during the national anthem.

In 2019, Kaepernick and the NFL reached a settlement. But the former Super Bowl starting quarterback hasn’t been signed by an NFL team, while quarterbacks with far less talent and success (they know who they are) were given opportunities instead.
