The National Football League has decided to End Racism for the sixth season in a row. All 32 teams will be asked to choose from four social justice messages to paint in the back of the end zone.

There is just one minor change from 2024 to 2025.

This announcement comes after the NFL notably removed its messaging from the field at the Super Bowl in February. It was unclear as to whether it was going to return for the upcoming regular season.

NFL teams can pick from four social justice messages.

The four options are as follow: “End Racism,” “Stop Hate,” “Choose Love” and “Inspire Change.” Every team gets to pick which of the four messages will be painted on the back of the end zone opposite from “It Takes All of Us.” Every team will be required to feature “It Takes All of Us.”

Three of these four choices are the same as last season. The only difference is “Inspire Change,” which will replace “Vote.”

These messages will complement the NFL’s other campaigns. For example, Salute to Service and Crucial Catch.

International football fans will be tasked with the end of racism.

Eight regular season NFL games are scheduled to be played internationally.

  • Chiefs vs. Chargers — Sào Paulo
  • Vikings vs. Steelers — Dublin
  • Vikings vs. Browns — London
  • Broncos vs. Jets — London
  • Rams vs. Jaguars — London
  • Falcons vs. Colts — Berlin
  • Commanders vs. Dolphins — Madrid

Participating teams will not get to pick its message for the international games. The NFL has decided to used “End Racism” alongside “It Takes All of Us” for the second season in a row.

Football fans in Brazil, Ireland, Germany, Spain and the U.K. are tasked with the end of racism. Last year’s efforts clearly did not work so the league is choosing to run it back.

What about the Super Bowl?

The NFL’s decision to continue its on-field social justice messaging comes after it decided to remove “End Racism” from the end zone at the AFC Championship game in Kansas City and the Super Bowl in New Orleans. The league instead chose to stencil “Choose Love” alongside “It Takes All of Us” instead.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy noted it had nothing to do with the political climate at the time.

It is currently unclear as to whether “End Racism” will return for the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara or if the NFL will pick one of the other three messages. Based on the international plan, I would assume that it is going to be back. However, we will not know for sure until Feb. 8, 2026.
