Cleveland Browns All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett did not hold back in his postgame press conference after a lopsided 23-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
“To lose the same way every time, it’s frustrating as hell,” Garrett said in reference to the Browns offense putting up only nine points.
Garrett was asked if it’s harder and harder to dig deep and keep pressing on amid the losing like it was for Browns Hall of Fame left tackle Joe Thomas. “Yep,” Garrett replied.

Garrett planned on adding Aaron Rodgers to his graveyard, but he ended up recording only two assisted tackles. Garrett had just three pressures, no sacks and zero quarterback hits.
“They stopped us as a D-line front. They got in chunk formations. They chipped after [Aaron Rodgers] got the ball out. … There weren’t a lot of situations where, even if I was running butt-ass naked, I could’ve gotten there,” Garrett said.
Garrett was envious when asked about the Steelers getting after quarterback Dillon Gabriel, recording six sacks and a whopping 16 QB hits.
“Must be nice,” Garrett simply replied.
The Browns’ regular season losing streak in Pittsburgh extended to 22 games. Cleveland has not won a regular season game in the Steel City since 2003.
Quarterback continues to be an issue for the Browns since they’ve returned to the NFL in 1999. Gabriel is the Browns’ 41st starting quarterback since ’99.
Garrett requested a trade from the Browns this past February, stating that he wanted to play for a Super Bowl contender. He ended up signing back with the Browns on a massive four-year, $160 million contract extension, however.
It sounds like Garrett is regretting that decision.
