Trade rumors never stop in the NFL but Browns GM Andrew Berry pulled Myles Garrett off the market

While the NFL’s official offseason doesn’t start until the Super Bowl finishes, the Cleveland Browns got a rude awakening and offseason pressure before the 2024 season even hit Christmas. DE Myles Garrett made it clear that he was not sticking around for the team to rebuild around him putting pressure on GM Andrew Berry and the rest of the organization.

Since then, Garrett:

While few thought the Browns would want to trade Garrett, wild trade rumors and media-suggested deals had some wondering how long Garrett would remain in Cleveland. A huge return had some wondering if Berry would have to consider dealing their star defender.

At the Senior Bowl, Berry made it clear that it wasn’t happening:

Last offseason, Garrett made it clear that he wanted to remain with the Browns for his career and wanted a “title for Cleveland.” In December, that sentiment seemed to have changed before the GM and defensive end got together on some planning conversations.

While Berry made it clear that he isn’t even listening to trade offers, rumors will likely swirl any time the Browns lose a game or if a veteran quarterback is not secured quickly in free agency.

Do you think Garrett is off the trade market for good or just for now? Would you trade the reigning DPOY?
