The Philadelphia Eagles secured their spot in the Super Bowl with a 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field.

With the Eagles headed to the 59th Super Bowl in the Big Easy, flocks of fans decided to celebrate on Broad Street near City Hall.

Some revelers got carried away.

One man stood atop a pole and tried to fly by grabbing on a flag as he crashed to the ground. Another guy knocked himself unconscious while trying to do a backflip off a truck.

One of the more frightening moments was a Philadelphia Eagles fan pulling out a weapon and firing it into the air.

One of the most disgusting actions involving celebrating fans was some of them coming across two Washington Commanders fans and harassing them as they walked to their vehicles.

Recording them and heckling was bad enough, but then one Eagles fan decided to take a beanie off the head of a Commanders fan and run away with it.

Awful: Multiple #Eagles fans were HARRASING two #Commanders fans after yesterday's game. Even STEALING a beanie off one of their heads.

There is no place for this in sports. Disgusting. pic.twitter.com/TdpCxjaLT8

The Commanders fan tried to retrieve it but thought better of it as things couldโ€™ve gone much worse.

He and his friend just continued on to their vehicles.

Riot Police Had To Come Out For Philadelphia Eagles Fans

Itโ€™s great when fans show their undying loyalty to their sports teams, but Eagles fans went a bit far over the weekend.

The celebration of the Eaglesโ€™ NFC Championship win quickly turned chaotic, spiraling into unexpected violence.

Crowds of fans were celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles win over the Washington Commanders to advance to the Super Bowl.

Eagles fans clashed with riot police after a car crashed into a large group of people.

Footage emerged on social media of police pushing back against large crowds.

The riot police might have to be ready in two weeks as the team could very well win it all.
