Nateal Campbell, the mother of Ravens defensive tackle Calais Campbell, was found dead in her Atlanta home on Tuesday night, per multiple reports from The Baltimore Banner and The Baltimore Sun. Campbell’s brother, Ciarre Campbell, was arrested and charged with her murder.
Law enforcement conducted a welfare check on Nateal Campbell on Tuesday afternoon at Ciarre Campbell’s home in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. She was found dead at the scene with her son barricaded inside the home. Police eventually made their way inside, where they detained Campbell, who has also been charged with aggravated assault and gun possession.
