We’re through 11 weeks of the 2025 NFL season, meaning every club has now played at least 10 games. It’s been a bit of an odd year, with no outright dominant team and nearly a third of the league already at 7 wins as we head into Week 12. Of course, not every club with a winning record is as good as they might seem.

Let’s dive into our list of the most overrated NFL teams right now.

Green Bay Packers

The Micah Parsons trade before Week 1 was the all-in move for the Green Bay Packers, seemingly thrusting themselves into Super Bowl contention. They certainly looked like a team capable of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in early September, beating the Lions and Commanders with a +23 point differential. Since then, Green Bay has a 4-3-1 record with a +21 point differential. What’s more concerning is how this offense has looked in the last three games, averaging just 15.7 points and 298.3 total yards per game. For comparison, those figures would rank bottom-four in offense for the season. With Tucker Kraft out for the season, Green Bay’s offense no longer has a consistent playmaker who can be a go-to target for Jordan Love. To make matters worse, the Packers offensive line has been league-average this season and it can’t run the football effectively. Even with Parsons, Green Bay’s pass rush (13th in ESPN pass-rush win rate) has fallen short of expectations. Given the team’s struggles against the Panthers, Browns and Giants, this looks like a slightly above-average team at best.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers are 5-0 in games where left tackle Joe Alt played 50-plus snaps. When he doesn’t, they are 2-4. Unfortunately for Justin Herbert and Jim Harbaugh, the 7-4 record entering the Week 12 bye could feel like a distant memory a month from now. Alt is out for the season and Herbert is now standing behind the worst offensive line in football by far. Los Angeles can’t function offensively with this pass protection and it can’t keep Herbert healthy.

Buffalo Bills

This has nothing to do with Josh Allen and everything to do with general manager Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills coaching staff. The Week 11 victory over Tampa Bay highlighted that, once again, Josh Allen is carrying this team. What separates this season’s version of the Bills from previous iterations is the fact that Allen no longer has a defense to support him. The Bills have the second-worst run defense (153 rush ypg and 5.4 ypc allowed) in the NFL and Sean McDermott is overseeing a league-average defense on third down and in the red zone. If Allen had a receiving corps that could create separation and win matchups in one-on-one coverage, Buffalo could overcome the defense. Unfortunately, the Bills front office downplayed the importance of having a No. 1 receiver and Allen is...
