This NFL Draft simulation data from the Pro Football Network has some interesting trends.
Before I get into it, I’d like to wish all our WCG readers a Happy New Year!
The Chicago Bears have put our fans in an all too familiar position. The team is bad again, so we’ve been looking ahead to the offseason for weeks now. Making the right moves in free agency is a must, but the NFL Draft is where the good teams build a championship core.
That said, the various Mock Draft Simulators get a huge workout from Bears fans as we play general manager and try to find the best draft haul possible. Our friends at Pro Football Network have a very popular simulator that I’m sure we’ve all toyed around with, but PFN went a step further and gathered some data from users.
In the last two weeks, here’s how fans have mocked the first round for the Bears on their free proprietary Mock Draft Simulator (MDS).
The trenches are always a popular selection for our fans, but this season, Chicago’s lack of talent up front has been a major problem.
PFN has also tracked the simulation data all season long, so here’s how fans have mocked the Bears' first round since September.
Back then, the Bears were projected to pick much later in the first round, but even so, we all knew the trenches needed an upgrade.
Try out their mock draft simulator and share your best one in the comment section.
Here’s one I just did.
