The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Jayden Daniels-less Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football in Week 8. That should give Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs a good opportunity to easily keep pace with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West. Denver leads by one game, so a Chiefs loss would be very bad for them in the division race.
Kickoff is set for Monday, October 27, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. Mile High time at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri and will air on ESPN/ABC.
According to FanDuel, the Chiefs are 11.5-point favorites at home against the Commanders. With Marcus Mariota in at quarterback, the Commanders will likely have a tough time keeping up with the Chiefs high-octane offense. Being on the road in Arrowhead also works against them. I think the line is quite fair here as a Chiefs blowout win is a very likely scenario tonight.
Prediction: Chiefs 31, Commanders 16.
