Mile High Report
It is the dreaded Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week 2. I really dislike MNF doubleheaders, but the NFL loves the money.
And today’s doubleheader is especially important to the Denver Broncos. They likely need the Los Angeles Chargers to choke and the Las Vegas Raiders to win. A gassed up Raiders team is preferable, especially if they fade down the stretch as most would expect. The Chargers are considered by many as legitimate contenders, so a 2-0 start for them would not be ideal.
In the other game, I’ll take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the Houston Texans. The AFC needs to lose every game until the Broncos figure out how to win theirs. HA!
