A game of nominal playoff implications with two teams fighting for playoff spots, but not against each others’ playoff spots really. The Pittsburgh Steelers are fighting for the AFC North division, while the Miami Dolphins are likely looking to sneak in as the seventh seed. Miami is in must-win all games mode, however. So a loss here tonight would doom their hopes completely.
Kickoff is set for Monday, December 15, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. Mile High time at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will air on ESPN/ABC.
According to FanDuel, the Steelers are favored by 3.5-points at home over the Dolphins here. Miami has quietly been clawing their way back into this conversation after starting the season 1-6. While their schedule has been somewhat soft to help them get back near .500, the Steelers are in the middle of a brutal stretch of games where they have won just three of their last eight games. I still like the Steelers here, but only because they are at home.
Prediction: Steelers 17, Dolphins 13.
