For the first time in their history, the Dallas Cowboys will play a game in Las Vegas tonight. The Las Vegas Raiders host the Cowboys in the teams’ first head-to-head game since Thanksgiving day in 2021, a thrilling 36-33 overtime game that the Raiders won under the leadership of interim head coach Rich Bisaccia.
That year, both teams were contending for playoff spots, however, which does not appear to be the case this year. The Raiders are in last place in an otherwise strong AFC West division and have won just twice in their first nine games. The Cowboys aren’t much better, going 3-5-1 to start the season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, while boasting one of the NFL’s worst defenses.
With that in mind, this game could be a shootout once again, and the books expect that with the total points line set at 50.5. Join APC as we follow along with tonight’s game and hopefully we’ll at least get to watch an entertaining game.
