Monday Musings: How would the NFL go about doing an 18-game season?

Let’s discuss the possibility of an 18-game season.

While it hasn’t happened yet, it seems more and more likely that the NFL will soon add another week to its regular season. But how should they go about doing that? Would that mean the league would have only two preseason games? Should that move the Super Bowl to the Sunday before President’s Day, putting the NFL championship in a three-day weekend for many people? And should the league also schedule an additional bye week for every team? But doing so would eliminate the off week between the preseason and regular season.
