The Packers’ president weighs in on a tremendous event.

Somehow, it has already been nine days since the 2025 NFL Draft concluded. The event was truly one to remember for Green Bay Packers fans in attendance, and we at Acme Packing Company will have a couple of draft diaries coming in the next few days to go over our experiences over that fantastic weekend.

Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy deserves more credit for bringing the draft to Green Bay than anyone else, and it’s only fitting that he get a chance to give his perspective on the event. This weekend, his monthly Q&A went live, in which he thanked the Packers’ fantastic fan base for the support and for showing up to make the weekend a truly special event.

For the Packers, however, there’s no time to dwell on the spectacle, as practices got underway over the weekend with rookie minicamp. OTAs are coming up quickly as well, so it’s right back to work for the coaching staff. Let’s look back at a few notes from rookie camp as we start looking ahead to more on-field work coming up in a few weeks.

Following the capstone event on his career as team president, Murphy expressed his gratitude to Packers fans and his appreciation that they knew exactly what was coming after he said "for the first time since 2002..."
