We check out PFN’s latest mock draft, which was done by our very own Jacob Infante.

It’s always mock draft season for some of you hardcore draftniks, but for the rest of us, mock draft season begins after the NFL’s season ends. However, it really ramps up with the collegiate all-star games coming to a close, and then there’s the NFL Combine coming later this month, and before we know it, the Chicago Bears will be on the clock.

I’ve been doing the Mocking the Mocks series for almost as long as I've been writing at WCG, and in case you’re new to it, it’s usually simply sharing what an NFL Draft expert from a national publication believes the Bears will do in the upcoming draft. This one is especially interesting because the national site we’re mocking is Pro Football Network, and the NFL Draft expert is our Lead Draft Analyst, Jacob Infante, who also covers the draft for PFN.

Jacob’s latest for them is a full seven-rounder, and here’s who he mocked to the Bears.

10) Chicago Bears - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

It would be genuinely surprising if the Bears’ first-round pick didn’t address either side of the trenches, as the offensive and defensive lines both stand out as glaring weaknesses of the current roster.

Much will be said about Mason Graham’s athleticism and quick hands giving him significant pass-rushing value as a defensive tackle. That said, I’m an even bigger fan of his pad level, anchor strength, and spatial awareness in run support. He looks the part of an immediate contributor with Pro Bowl potential.

There’ll be no complaints from me if the Bears stay in the trenches at the tenth pick. I know a lot of fans are hoping for an offensive lineman in the first round, but this draft seems pretty deep there, and if I know Jacob, he’ll address the o-line early.

39) Chicago Bears - Jonah Savaiinaea, G, Arizona

The Bears have plenty of cap space to work with, making it likely they’ll add at least one new starter to their offensive line in free agency. Even if they sign two, though, there’s a decent chance they’ll still need to invest in a lineman early in the 2025 NFL Draft.

With a sturdy anchor, good size-adjusted athleticism, a nasty demeanor, and ideal length, Savaiinaea has the potential to be a good tackle but a great guard. Chicago kicks him inside in this hypothetical.

I told you so!

Savaiinaea has played some guard for the Wildcats, as well as both tackle spots. During his week at the Senior Bowl, he worked as a guard, which is where most scouts project him.

41) Chicago Bears - Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

In addition to defensive tackle, the Bears have a need at their other defensive end position opposite Montez Sweat. With three picks in the top 45, it wouldn’t be surprising if...
