The NFC North Week 1 matchups continue on Monday night with the Minnesota Vikings facing off against the Chicago Bears in a huge game.
The Bears, under new coach Ben Johnson, are trying to prove that they’ve finally got the right people in place to lead a somewhat talented roster to victory. It’s been six straight years since they’ve had a winning season, and 15 years since their last playoff victory. They’ve finished at the bottom of the NFC North for three straight seasons.
The Vikings, on the other hand, have had plenty of regular season success under coach Kevin O’Connell, but little postseason success. A new era begins with J.J. McCarthy under center, so it’s unclear what 2025 has in store for Minnesota.
