Brady Christensen has long been a piece of the Carolina Panthers’ offensive line equation. The 70th overall pick from the 2021 NFL Draft has a handful of starts at almost every OL position and has flashed the potential to crack the starting five. Unfortunately for him, his contract year was marred by a torn Achilles midseason. Now he’s back with the Carolina Panthers and with a much less certain future.
Between his inability to seize a starting spot when he was younger and the often brutal toll an Achilles injury can take on lineman’s athleticism, it is no surprise that most fans don’t expect him to step into a starting spot. That’s even accounting for Taylor Moton missing an unknown amount of the season with blood clots.
It is a testament to the quality of the work Christensen has done in his four years with the Panthers, however, that about a third of fans think he has the potential to start right away this season.
