New England Patriots

• Placed on active/NFI list: OLB Gabe Jacas
• Placed on IR: WR Jeremiah Webb

The Patriots were able to secure the signature of their second-round pick out of Illinois this weekend, but they won’t be seeing him on the field just yet. Jacas underwent an arthroscopic knee procedure shortly after New England selected him, and per ESPN’s Mike Reiss, head coach Mike Vrabel claimed the team is taking a cautious approach to his return.
